Practice Description
A seasoned litigator with a proven track record of delivering proactive and practical legal representation, Ms. Wilcox serves as legal counsel in the firm’s Pittsburgh office and is responsible for handling numerous complex civil litigation cases in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Her practice focuses on general civil litigation with an emphasis on mass tort/toxic tort products liability litigation. She has extensive experience representing manufacturing, supplier, and premises defendants in asbestos litigation in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and Maryland. Additionally, Ms. Wilcox has handled cases through all phases of litigation and appellate practice. In 2003 she successfully briefed and argued a case in front of the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals regarding the right of a plaintiff to be reinstated to her former employment when it was determined by the jury at trial that she was wrongfully terminated.

Ms. Wilcox served as law clerk for the Honorable John T. Madden and Mark A. Karl for West Virginia’s Second Judicial Circuit in 1999-2000, and was the first law clerk for that Circuit. Upon completing her clerkship, she gained her initial trial experience doing plaintiffs’ personal injury work in the District of Columbia where she had several successful verdicts before returning to the Pittsburgh area to focus on complex civil defense litigation.
