Biography
Chris Arnold joined the firm in February 2017.  An experienced litigator with a proven track record of delivering proactive and practical legal representation, Mr. Arnold serves as legal counsel in the firm’s Pittsburgh and office and is responsible for handling numerous complex civil litigation cases in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Since 2001, his practice has focused on general civil litigation with an emphasis on mass tort/toxic tort products liability litigation. In addition to his primary practice area, Mr. Arnold is experienced in complex litigation involving catastrophic personal injury cases, defending class action claims and commercial litigation arising out of the mortgage and oil & gas industries.  

Mr. Arnold is heavily involved and possesses extensive experience in the representation of manufacturers, retailers, suppliers and premises owners in asbestos litigation in West Virginia and Western Pennsylvania.  Mr. Arnold has also served as trial counsel in the successful defense of a mortgage lending company by obtaining a directed verdict. His professional experience includes work with a technology company that combined technological, linguistic and legal analysis to bolster the electronic discovery practices of attorneys nationwide.

In addition to his legal experience, Mr. Arnold served five years in various offices of the Kanawha County Bar Association, concluding with a term as President.  He is an active member of the Defense Research Institute.
