Thomas P. Hanna

Biography
Thomas Hanna is a founding partner of the firm. Tom concentrates his practice on mass tort, toxic tort and product liability litigation. Mr. Hanna represents clients in significant litigation in several states. He has tried high stakes cases throughout the United States, trying cases to verdict in jurisdictions as far west as California and as far south as Texas. He has developed a reputation as a skilled trial lawyer having tried more than 100 cases to verdict involving mass/toxic torts, general liability, and medical malpractice. Mr. Hanna is also recognized as a valued litigation strategist and currently represents two Fortune 100 drug companies in major litigation in several states.

Representative Matters
Tried a consolidation of 23 cases to verdict obtaining defense verdicts in 21 asbestos cases in a jurisdiction characterized as a Judicial Hell Hole.

Successfully defended a two-month consolidation of six asbestos cases in California.

Obtained a defense verdict in a six week trial of a malignant mesothelioma case involving a 45-year-old plaintiff.

Obtained Summary Judgment for a fortune 100 company in a toxic tort case by convincing the court in argument to apply another state’s law which barred recovery.
