Biography

Lainey Anderson joined Kelley Jasons McGowan Spinelli Hanna & Reber, LLP’s Philadelphia office as an associate in September 2023. Ms. Anderson previously worked in the Philadelphia office as a summer law clerk. Prior, she worked as a law clerk for a general practice firm in Charleston, SC.

Since joining KJMSH&R as an associate, Ms. Anderson gained experience serving as part of a trial team that obtained a defense verdict in Rhode Island. She has also assisted other members of the firm in trial preparation and research, and has drafted dispositive motions for numerous clients.

Ms. Anderson graduated from the Charleston School of Law where she was a merit-based scholarship recipient and received awards for her performance in Legal Research & Writing and Family Law. She also served for 2 years as a Legal Research & Writing fellow for first-year students. Ms. Anderson was a member of Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society and the Maritime Law Society. Involved in maritime law studies, she wrote an article about the changes in third-party product liability in admiralty courts, published in the 2023 winter edition of the ATLP Journal of Transportation Law, Logistics, & Policy.
